Teachers- here are some Helpful HInts to help you use this WebQuest with your students
1. I have included voice directions on each page for students.
2. You will need to sign up for a Voice Thread account in order to complete this project. You may need to provide the link to them separately so they do not add to my class project. This may mean that you would need to sent out a separate link to them in some way.
3. In Step 9 I had my children locate a picture of an animal to add to our Voice Thread. I thought it was too difficult for my kindergarten children to save the picture they located and then import it into the Voice Thread. I have them instead raising their hand after they locate the picture and importing it for them.
4. I have the children visiting Pebble Go which is a program that my school subscribes to. If you do not have access to this program, you may need to locate an additional resource for your students to use.
5. In my introduction and conclusion I mentioned our trip to the National Zoo- wouldn't want to confuse any kindergarten students.
6. Please feel free to borrow my links. I added links to all of the video's and websites viewed in the quest. Just be sure to cite them as well.
7. As a final activity I may have the children go back and view the class voice thread. I would allow them to comment on their friends animals. This may be something to share with parents at home as well.
